Our take
Spark’s Smart Inbox does a solid job of automatically separating newsletters, notifications, and personal email without much manual tuning, and unlike many competitors it keeps a real free tier with unlimited accounts. We think it’s a good middle-ground pick for people who want more than Gmail’s default interface but don’t want to pay Superhuman prices. Team features (shared drafts, delegation, internal comments on emails) are a genuine differentiator for small teams collaborating on shared inboxes. It’s less powerful for extremely high email volume than Superhuman, and the AI writing features are decent rather than best-in-class.
