Our take
Miro turned the physical whiteboard into a genuinely useful remote collaboration tool, with sticky notes, mind maps, and diagramming that hold up for workshops, retros, and brainstorming sessions across time zones. We think it’s the strongest pure whiteboarding tool available, particularly for larger organizations running structured workshops with dozens of participants. The free tier’s 3-board limit is restrictive for regular use, and the interface can feel sluggish with very large, asset-heavy boards. It overlaps somewhat with FigJam and Whimsical, so most teams only need one.
